D.D. Brown is one of the lesser known Highwaymen from the Fort Pierce area. Before becoming a painter himself Brown helped Alfred Hair and the other Highwaymen by taking their work on the road with him where he would sell it out of the trunk of his car at various roadside locations throughout Florida.
